Located in a lush suburban setting, Mr. Suresh’s residence is envisioned as a modern interpretation of row housing with a distinct architectural language. The project comprises three vertically arranged dwelling units unified through a striking elevation design that merges rhythm, geometry, and natural textures.
Design Statement
The façade is driven by a desire to create identity and character within a compact footprint. Sharp sloping rooflines lend the structure a dynamic profile, while a framed modular rhythm brings clarity to the front elevation. A natural material palette—featuring exposed concrete texture, vertical wooden slats, and clean white bands—reflects a balance between modern minimalism and tactile warmth.
Expansive balconies with transparent glass balustrades provide visual lightness and encourage a seamless indoor-outdoor experience. Vertical fins not only add a sculptural quality to the elevation but also serve to screen views and provide shade. The stilt floor base creates a lifted composition, allowing the building to breathe within its green surroundings.
