Design Statement
The elevation celebrates the power of geometry—anchored in exposed concrete planes and vertically oriented voids. The design intentionally introduces contrast: rugged concrete surfaces are softened with timber verticals and planting bands, creating a harmonious interplay between structure and softness. Full-height glazing ensures visual transparency and passive daylighting, while overhangs and recesses provide essential thermal shading. The entrance is modest yet inviting, offering a sense of privacy without compromising the architectural character. This residence exemplifies the thoughtful use of form, material, and proportion to elevate the everyday living experience.
