Jai Suriya is a dynamic biomedical engineer with hands-on experience in the medical device sector and a deep commitment to advancing healthcare technology. Currently pursuing an MSc in Biomedical Engineering (Bioelectronics) at Newcastle University, UK, he brings a blend of technical proficiency, compliance expertise, and clinical collaboration to our multidisciplinary team.
With over two years of experience as a Field Service Engineer in India, Jai has worked on advanced imaging systems such as Ziehm C-arms and Carestream CBCT machines, as well as critical care equipment like neonatal ventilators. His contributions include optimizing device performance, training over 200 clinicians, and supporting surgical planning with customized medical technology solutions.
Jai is skilled in DICOM data interpretation, 3D visualization, MATLAB, PCB design, and IoT integration in healthcare. His regulatory knowledge spans global standards including MHRA, MDR, FDA, and CDSCO, making him an asset in compliance-focused environments. His recent project—designing an optical wireless power transfer system for brain implants—showcases his forward-thinking approach to biomedical innovation.
