A Chartered Engineer and Registered Structural Engineer (Grade-II, CMDA – Chennai), Sri Ganesh currently pursues a PhD in Civil Engineering at the University of South Wales, UK, where his research focuses on sustainable construction materials and the durability of geopolymer concrete.

Sri Ganesh is the Founder and Principal Consultant of JB & KM Structural Consultants and Designers Private Limited, formerly known as JB Excel Structural Consultants. The company was re-envisioned to reflect broader interdisciplinary ambitions and is named in memory of his beloved grandparents and parents—Jayamma Boopathy (JB) and Kala Mohan Kumar (KM).
